Catholic Christian Newman Association (CCNA)

"Faith, Fun & Friendship"

The Catholic Christian Newman Association is an organization that brings young adults together to serve God through a community of faith, fun and friendship.

We value a Catholic Identity and hold fast to an ecumenical openness.  Only by fostering our Christian faith will we find the strength to live out the promise of our baptism in a global vision of the Gospel.

CCNA provides a great opportunity to meet other young adults and grow in faith.  We invite all young adults, ages 18-23, to join us in sharing, faith, fellowship, friendship, and fun. We normally meet on the campus of College of the Ozarks but the group is open to all young adults. If you have questions about any of our activities, please call Lynn Melendez at 417-339-2825.

CCNA Members in Madrid for World Youth Day 2011

Tuesday evenings
6:15 – 7:30 pm
Join us in the Lounge area of the Campus Ministries Building

College of the Ozarks
Point Lookout, MO

Sessions cover a variety of topics of interest to students including
guest speakers, discussion, prayer and more.

We normally focus on how we as Catholic Christians can respond to various aspects of our life and grow in our faith.  All faiths welcome at all CCNA activities!

The small, but very active CCNA group works hard at spiritual development, community service projects, and outreach to other young adults which all help to insure that the CCNA tradition of "faith, fun and friendship" lives on!

Mass is celebrated on campus once each month in the Williams Memorial Chapel
