Gregory & Escalante would like to thank Mr. Ryan Smutney for his generous support of this ministry. Without his faith in what God can accomplish through our gifts none of this would have been possible. Thank you!

We would also like to thank our Pastor, Father Rick Jones. We know that you always tell us it’s God who receives the glory, but we recognize that God surely uses you as His “instrument” in our lives. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

To Our Lady of Communication—Joyce Arnold—there are no words to describe how we feel about you…Saint? Holy One? Almighty? Seriously…without your incredible support, faith, talent, and spirit we would fall flat on our faces. We know that you always give God the glory for everything, so thank you for your passionate example to us. We love you!

Pat Hutcheson… “Mafia Princess”—our new ministry has brought to you…more work! Thank you for keeping us on the up and up. We love you too!

Fr. William Hennecke, and to all of our other devoted volunteers, we thank you for your diligent spirit as you have assisted us in many ways to kick off this new ministry. We feel blessed to have you be a part of what God is doing in our lives.

Richard would like to thank God for bringing him to Branson and allowing him to be a part of Our Lady of the Lake Parish. I would also like to thank my parents for their love and years of music lessons. Thank you to all of my extended family and friends for their support in my pursuit of music ministry. My thoughts and prayers will always be with them.

Dow would like to thank Alesha, my beautiful wife, for putting up with the long hours away from home to rehearse, record, perform, and minister—without your support honey…I would not be the man I am. I love you. And of course…Jesus…we never thank you enough, but in this small way, I want the world to know that I’m so thankful for your patience with me…your whiney, mostly bratty child. I love you. And my kids…you sometimes don’t see your Daddy enough so I thank you that you share me with others. I love you! Finally, to Richard…thank you for staying in Branson and giving God a chance to use us “together”—as someone somewhere once saw in a movie and I hear quite frequently from friends and loved ones, “If you build it, they will come”. That’s my prayer my brother…as we build, and God blesses…they will come. Love you bro!

Press Releases

Dated:  March 11, 2008

Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Branson, MO is excited to announce a new music ministry extension of our church…

Our Lady Presents . . . Gregory & Escalante

Richard Gregory, new Music Director for Our Lady of the Lake and piano player/singer extraordinaire and Dow Escalante, 10 year resident of Branson and veteran performer of The Promise, are joining their talents to bring something different to the Branson Community and it’s visitors.

As many of you are aware the Branson area is flooded every year with tens of thousands of visitors, many of whom come and worship God with us each Sunday. We are honored  to receive them into our spiritual home, and we constantly seek new ways to serve not only these “parishioners for a day,” but our hometown members as well.

As you probably know, Branson is the live entertainment capitol of the country. With almost 40 different theaters, over 100 shows and countless restaurants, you can see why so many come here every year.

Many people come to Branson and are constantly seeking to be filled- with joy, with music, with food! We want to offer these visitors a different form of entertainment, a time of Christ-centered music and praise. “Food for the soul,” so to speak...a “Spiritual Retreat in Song”.  Our goal is to spend an hour or so sharing our faith and our music with anyone who wants to hear.

The concert will take place in the main Worship Space of Our Lady of the Lake at 203 Vaughn Drive, Branson, MO, just two blocks West of Hwy 65.

Your $10.00 donation* per person helps support our Musical Ministry in their needs, hopes and dreams.
