Finally, I come the last section of the letter that was sent to the Diocese regarding the renovation project. It is a summary of the entire letter…so enjoy!
We feel that we have a good mix of quality and cost. We want the facility to appeal to a good mix of users, but it does not need to compete with the high end users who would demand a more elaborate facility. By hiring a full time person to manage all of the church facilities we will assure that someone is in charge of overseeing the buildings and their operation. Our projections show that we will be able to meet the debt service obligation that we are requesting. We feel confident that with our new capital campaign we will have the necessary funds available for our portion of the project. Based on this proposal, and considering our history in meeting our current debt obligation, we ask the diocesan office to approve our plans so that we can move forward with our fund raising campaign. If any additional information is required, please let us know.
Needless to say, the Diocese did give us permission to begin our fundraising efforts. So, for the past 9 months we have been raising money for the first phase of the renovation project. I think that next weekend I will begin explaining the plan that has been developed for how we want to phase this renovation project. Your attention to these remarks is very much appreciated. So, once again, thanks for pondering these remarks! Know of my thoughts and prayers for you and your loved ones. Father Rick L. Jones, Pastor |
