Parish
Facilities
The main level of the church includes
the
Church
Sanctuary,
Mother Teresa Day Chapel,
and
Gift Shop. The
facility was built through the dedication and generosity of
our parishioners as well as the many visitors who attend
Mass here while vacationing in the Ozarks.
The lower level houses the
Parish
Offices
and
Classrooms.
The
Parish
Library is also available near the office
on this level.
Our
Prayer Garden and Labyrinth
are outside the doors of the lower level and offer a place
for prayer and meditation or to enjoy the beauty of God's
creation.
The
Parish Center is across the street from
the church. It includes space for receptions, banquets,
dinners, meetings, and other gatherings. The lower level of
the Parish Center is home to
Christian Action Ministries (C.A.M.),
a non-denominational community food pantry.
Parish
History
Our Lady of the Lake Parish is a
living, changing, growing representation of the people
involved. Our
Parish History
tells a bit about our journey from the the first Mass held
in Taney County in 1915 to today's parish family which
includes a few hundred parishioners and hosts 3,000 or more
"parishioners for a day" each weekend.
